Anyone who disagrees is an idiot. I mean really, what's with the stupid 2d map and 2d sprites, and stupid, boring, watered down gameplay that takes zero skill? this isn't the 80's or early 90's you know. There's no innovation in this so called "game". Who could even think of such a dumb idea anyway? the creator should take notes from successful games, and just "maybe" then he might come up with a worthwhile game.

The idea behind this game is very good, this is probably the only game where you have total freedom to do what ever you want on the map. All other games just give you options to cancel and return the attacking army, but this game allows you to wander around, circle around enemy towns, seek for weak points, use tactic. There are numerous ways to defeat the enemy in this game, you do not need t have the strongest army, taking down economy will help you, kill the enemy with magic if you are not strong enough, use all kinds of different tactics, like some say guerrilla warfare.

i agree. this is a dumb game... this is the 21st century. maybe this game would be good in the 80s with those other dice games. and wow even after being so old and being out for so long this game has so many flaws. id rather play.. actually i AM going to go play some solitaire now rather than this piece of ____

not to mention all of the microtransactions they want you to make.

yeah who would want to play a game, that you have to think about, invest time into, strategize about actual territory you can see and isnt made of a bunch of squares.

yeah im sorry this game doesnt have a little worker uses a pickaxe to build my homes. or have little timers for upgrades. this game has what it needs and doesnt flood you with useless crap.

ive reached this point in my life that i cant just play mindless clicking games, or shooters anymore, i need a game i can really dive into and think about, that has alot of nooks and crannies i can explore . this is the most disverse RTS game ive ever played, ive heard of a few other that could be good, but after really looking into them they are dominated by people who spend lots of money for major advantages. and thats not what im looking for.

To be blunt, i dont think most people have the capacity to play this game. people are dumb. just look at the popular games out there, mindless shooters, adventure games, and the phone apps are the stupidest games ever but people pay to play them. a game like this could get popular but never to the status of let say angry birds or candy crush. But i think with a some good updates, more intricate maps and advertising this game could get big.  one thing i wonder about is the lotr stuff in here, Nazguls and halflings. im pretty sure thats lotr owned names. is that an issue? im sure if this game got popular it could be

I dont think Lotr can own a name of a nazgul and Halfing since they were both things before The Lotr Novels

halfling is not a specificion of a single race, and Nazgûl is something made up by Tolkien, who was a linguist, writer was his hobby.. He made languages and stuff.

The game is not boring, its just less exciting of what it used to be, also it is true the forums are boring, but the forum isnt the game, its just a way for people to speak to everyone else what they had for dinner and/or others game they want to share.

Wow I feel sorry for all you guys. Your brains are obviously way too warped to understand the crappy-ness of this game. How else could this game be around for over half of my life, and yet still have hardly anyone playing it? the reason: it sucks! I'm sensing major fanboyism here to be honest. Well, i'm off to play my triple AAA games on Xbox now. You, know, the ones that don't suck.

i'm just proud of jack for taking the time to pay attention to post this in the right area. i'm also delighted how he is spending so much time coming back to check on the game...i do it too :-( much

You mean like starcraft, diablo, witcher, europa universalitis, hearts of iron, nwn, kotor, making history, arcanum, fallout 1 & 2, baldurs gate, etc? no thanks, I don't play white people games.

I like this game though I'm not very good at it. I do want to get off of Lath. It's just one big kd killing everyone. I was barely out of protection. : / Not having much fun this era.
